Get ready for some serious eye candy from Amy & Tom’s vintage inspired wedding! When I first met with Amy, she showed me her super organized, detail oriented, color coded wedding planning binder and I just knew that this girl was going to have one phenomenal wedding. All of that planning certainly paid off because she was as relaxed and radiant as any bride I’ve ever seen on her wedding day. Amy and Tom put so much time, effort and love into making their wedding unique and personal. From Amy’s birdcage veil to the vintage Cadillac that drove her to the ceremony, to the table decorations and photo booth, no small detail was overlooked and many of them were done by Amy herself (you know how much I puffy heart love a DIY bride!) This was definitely one of my favorite weddings to date. Aside from Amy and Tom being so sweet, and all the sweet details, wedding photography was a big priority for Amy and she made sure that we had plenty of time before and after the ceremony to get some amazing shots. I obviously attend a lot of weddings (both as a guest and wedding photographer) and I know how quickly the day flies by. However, when it’s all said and done and the day is over, your wedding photographs are the only thing you will have to remember your wedding by (well and maybe a frost-bitten wedding cake top on your first anniversary!) That’s why it’s so important to a.) choose a wedding photographer who’s style and personality meshes well with your own, b.) Communicate early and often with your photographer to discuss what’s most important to you, and c.) relax and trust your photographer to capture your day beautifully. OK, now on to all the fun stuff
Amy and her girls got ready at the Celebration Hotel and the ceremony and reception were held at the Celebration Golf Club. Their venue perfectly complimented the vintage style they loved and also their wedding colors. I couldn’t believe how many things (the vintage cars, the reception area) were blue and yellow – Amy’s colors. Not sure if Amy planned it that way, or it was just an awesome coincidence, but either way, it just felt like the whole day was “meant to be.” Amy and Tom both work at Disney as performers and had little touches of The Mouse here and there. They also danced and twirled their way into the reception to the song from Woody’s roundup – the show in which they first met. As the night wound down, they made their grand exit through a sea of friends with sparklers and into their limousine, off on their honeymoon and their new life together. It was really a fairytale ending to such a perfect day. Amy and Tom, I hope you know how much I enjoyed working with you and how honored I am that I got to be part of such a special day. Congratulations!
Amy was a gorgeous bride!

Aren’t they just so fun?!
I’m not even going to get into how funny their bridal party was.I may or may not have had to take a vow of silence about talking about them on my blog, ha!

I’ll have a whole, other post for the photo booth pics, but just had to share this adorable one of the bride & groom.

Cheers to the happy couple!
