Valentine’s Day Mini Sessions

Love is in the air!   I’ll be doing two days of Valentine’s Day Mini Sessions at the new studio next week.   I’m really excited, as this is the first “official” shoot I’ll be doing in the new space!   Also, for a super limited time (aka today, 1-28) I’ll be giving a $15.00 discount if you book today.

The fine print:

The session fee is $90 (unless you book today, in which case it would be $75.00)

Sessions will be held indoors, at my natural light studio.

These are short & sweet, styled mini sessions.   We will of course, be happy to do a few non-styled shots at your session too, just be sure to let us know in advance!

If you have more than one child, they are all welcome to participate in the session, but the focus will be on individual shots vs. group shots and we will split the time (approx. 15-20 minutes) between them.

Your session fee will include one high-res. digital file.    You will be shown a gallery of approximately 10 images from your session.  Choose your favorite, we will edit it and send you a link to download it within 24 hours.    You are, of course, always welcome to purchase additional digital images, prints and products (including super cute Valentine’s Day cards!) from your session.

For any other questions, or to book, please email me at

2012 Holiday Mini Sessions

I still have a few spots left for holiday mini sessions!  Please email me at if you’d like to book one.   These are the only holiday sessions I’ll be doing for the rest of this year due to the (crazy) busy fall wedding season and the addition of my new (totally cute) babe, Hadley.   PS – if we’re not connected on Facebook, and/or you don’t subscribe to my e-newsletter, you’re missing out!   So, why don’t you fix that now, by clicking here and here.  Easy Peasy.

The mini-session times still available are

Saturday 10/6 (5:30, 6:00 and 6:30pm)

Sunday 10/7 (5:30)

Sunday 10/14 (5:30)

Waiting for Baby | Orlando Family Photographer

I’m so excited to share this session with you all!  I think it’s kind of humorous that my first post-baby session was a maternity session (and my last pre-baby session was a newborn) but it was really fun to share in the excitement of these first time parents.   There’s nothing quite like being pregnant with your first baby.  Everything is so new and exciting and you just treasure each and every new feeling, your growing belly and the sweet little punches and kicks from your little one.   Not that you don’t enjoy those with later pregnancies, but there is definitely something extra special about having your first baby.   Max and Jessica are friends of ours — Max works with my husband and Jessica and I have bonded at many a company event, and now over our recent pregnancies and shared passion for natural childbirth.  They’re actually the ones that referred our amazing doula, Adriana, to us!   So I was thrilled and honored to be able to capture such an important time in their lives for them.   My favorite sessions, and the ones that turn out the best, are those when my clients and I have a shared vision and they trust me to bring it to life.   It helps so much to discuss things beforehand such as location and wardrobe so that we can make the best use of our time together.   I knew Jessica would have some amazing wardrobe pieces (she always does!)  and what she brought was perfect for this session!  I love the dreamy, airy, bohemian vibe.   Jessica is a radiantly beautiful mother-to-be and Max is such a sweet & supportive husband – keeping her cool between shots with a portable fan, meticulously picking out blocks to spell baby’s name (which is a surprise for now!) and most importantly, making her smile.  I mean, with such gorgeous light and awesome subjects, this session really couldn’t have been any better.  It’s so nice to shooting again, I didn’t realize how much I missed it!
