Dani & Ben | The Acre, Orlando | Orlando Wedding Photographer

Dani and Ben’s wedding definitely goes in the books as one of my favorites!  Not only are these two so super sweet and in love, but they have amazing taste and had such a fun vision for their wedding.  Their wedding venue, The Acre Orlando, could not have been more perfect for said vision.  It also probably doesn’t hurt that Dani is super creative and works as a marketing manager for In Bloom Florist (one of my faves!!) Of course she would be on the up and up as far as the latest & greatest wedding trends go! I know I’ve said it a million times (at least) but even after shooting hundreds of weddings, each one is so special.  One of my favorite parts of the day is when the bride and groom are getting ready.  There’s such an air of excitement, everyone has nervous butterflys and happiness is just buzzing all around.  Knowing that in a matter of hours or minutes, you’re about to embark on one of the biggest adventures of your life, with the person you love most in the world, well, it’s priceless.  The number ONE requested shot I get is the groom’s face as his bride walks down the aisle.  Ben’s sweet reaction definitely did not disapoint.  And then the vows, I mean….even I can’t hold back tears sometimes.  I may be a little biased currently because my OWN wedding is on the horizon and it’s giving me all the mushy-gushy feels, but, still…. Anyways, not only was this wedding sweet and beautiful, but also really fun and infused with personality.  During Dani and Ben’s first dance, a video montage of their special moments together played on the wall behind them.  It was seriously like a scene from a movie, so intimate and sweet but seriously cool – job well done, guys!  Another highlight of the evening was the “drunk history of our relationship” video played they at their reception.  I’m a firm believer that every couple should do one of these now! From the beginning of the day, to the sparkler exit, I have to say, every moment was perfect, and perfectly them.  Enjoy these images from their special day at The Acre.   (Dani and Ben’s awesome vendors are listed at the bottom of this post!)

Shayna and Miguel | Charming and Vibrant Bonnet House Wedding | Fort Lauderdale Wedding Photographer

To say that I love and adore the Bonnet House Museum and Gardens in Fort Lauderdale is an understatement.  You may recall I shot Jason and Jessica’s wedding there a few years ago and just fell in LOVE!! It is such a naturally beautiful, unique, and whimsical place with a rich history – if you have the chance to go there and take a tour – I highly recommend it! To say the least, when Shayna and Miguel contacted me about their Bonnet House wedding, I responded with a very enthusiastic “yes!”  One of the things I love the most about being a wedding photographer is the connections I make with people.  Shayna and Miguel are based in Chicago, so all of our communication and planning was done long-distance.   In our emails back and forth, I learned that they met doing Acro-yoga (so cool! Pretty sure I will never be coordinated enough to even attempt that lol!) love yoga, spent time living in Puerto Rico and have THE cutest two year old baby boy.  Aside from very brief in-person meeting when they booked, I really didn’t see them again until their wedding day!  It means SO much to me that my clients place this huge amount of trust in me to capture their once-in-a-lifetime wedding day, seriously it makes my heart swell that out of all the talented photographers out there, they choose ME to tell their love story.  What a privilege!  While this is just a little snapshot of their whole wedding day, I think it captures the love, emotion and bond that this family shares.  Enjoy this sneak peek into their charming and vibrant bonnet house wedding!
