Waiting for Baby | Orlando Family Photographer

I’m so excited to share this session with you all!  I think it’s kind of humorous that my first post-baby session was a maternity session (and my last pre-baby session was a newborn) but it was really fun to share in the excitement of these first time parents.   There’s nothing quite like being pregnant with your first baby.  Everything is so new and exciting and you just treasure each and every new feeling, your growing belly and the sweet little punches and kicks from your little one.   Not that you don’t enjoy those with later pregnancies, but there is definitely something extra special about having your first baby.   Max and Jessica are friends of ours — Max works with my husband and Jessica and I have bonded at many a company event, and now over our recent pregnancies and shared passion for natural childbirth.  They’re actually the ones that referred our amazing doula, Adriana, to us!   So I was thrilled and honored to be able to capture such an important time in their lives for them.   My favorite sessions, and the ones that turn out the best, are those when my clients and I have a shared vision and they trust me to bring it to life.   It helps so much to discuss things beforehand such as location and wardrobe so that we can make the best use of our time together.   I knew Jessica would have some amazing wardrobe pieces (she always does!)  and what she brought was perfect for this session!  I love the dreamy, airy, bohemian vibe.   Jessica is a radiantly beautiful mother-to-be and Max is such a sweet & supportive husband – keeping her cool between shots with a portable fan, meticulously picking out blocks to spell baby’s name (which is a surprise for now!) and most importantly, making her smile.  I mean, with such gorgeous light and awesome subjects, this session really couldn’t have been any better.  It’s so nice to shooting again, I didn’t realize how much I missed it!
